Keep updated about My Electric Avenue’s Automotive-Utilities Task Force ‘legacy initiative’

11th December, 2015

My Electric Avenue has highlighted the fact that communication takes place within the energy industry, and within the automotive industry, but little communication takes place between the two, and that is exactly what needs to happen to successfully address the issue of lack of capacity in some local electricity networks for electric vehicle charging.

Therefore as a legacy project, EA Technology will be facilitating cross-industry dialogue in the form of an Automotive-Utilities Task Force to ensure that the lessons learnt from My Electric Avenue are transformed into action: raising awareness of the issues and solutions, and exploring collaborative working opportunities. If you would like to be updated about the progress of this initiative please contact EA Technology via email or phone 0151 339 4181.

The My Electric Avenue Project was delivered between January 2013 and December 2015 by EA Technology on behalf of Scottish and Southern Energy Networks (SSEN) as part of the Low Carbon Networks (LCN) Fund suite of innovation projects. As the Project is now complete, this webpage will no longer be updated, however you can learn more about the work undertaken by EA Technology at and SSEN at
